Amid the swirling speculations, one commenter urged caution“Don’t assume things, people. Personal reasons or lots of things can happen.” While NBC has not provided an official explanation, Ilderton has remained active on social media.

Ilderton’s departure from the show isn’t the first surprising exit this season. Ahead of the Knockouts stage, Tanner Frick, another standout contestant, also left the competition unexpectedly.

“The Voice” host Carson Daly informed coach Michael Bublé that Tanner Frick left the competition after rehearsals, leaving Bublé with two remaining contestants, Cameron Wright and Sloane Simon.

Frick wowed the coaches during his audition with a powerful rendition of Morgan Wallen’s “Thought You Should Know.” His performance earned the rare distinction of a four-chair turn, as all the coaches—Stefani, Bublé, Snoop Dogg, and Reba McEntire—were captivated by his talent.

Each coach passionately vied for Frick to join their team, recognizing the potential and artistry in his voice. “Tanner Frick was a huge win for me,” Bublé said at the time.

Bublé highlighted the importance of Tanner Frick to his team after saving him during the Battles round. Calling Frick a “former four-chair turn and a piece of the puzzle that I didn’t have,” Bublé emphasized how the country singer added much-needed depth to his lineup.

Bublé noted that adding Tanner Frick to his team filled an important need in the country music genre, boosting his confidence as they prepared for the next stage of the show.

While he hasn’t explained his departure, Frick posted a TikTok video captioned, “Ain’t nobody want me anyway.”

The departures of Ilderton and Frick from “The Voice” mark the start of exciting new chapters, as both artists prepare to seize fresh opportunities beyond the show.
